Since 1977, the Native Museum of Mashteuiatsh has been transmitting the history and culture of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh (Ilnu of Lac-Saint-Jean). The Ilnuatsh reveal to us the knowledge of the Ilnu nation and also that of the First Nations of Quebec and the rest of the Americas. A visit to the Musée amérindien de Mashteuiatsh is an opportunity to discover the history and culture of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh throughout the ages.
