NOTICE AGM 2017-2018
Dear Québec Aboriginal Tourism members,
We are pleased to invite you to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will kick off with a training session.
Thursday, November 8, 2018 | Training in marketing: 9 a.m.| AGM: 1:30 p.m.
Where: ASHUKAN CULTURAL SPACE, 431, PLACE JACQUES CARTIER, MONTRÉAL (QC)
TRAINING: UNDERSTANDING THE TOURISM ECOSYSTEM AND ITS STANDARDS
Once again, this year, a morning training session on a theme requested by members will be held before the AGM.
Québec Aboriginal Tourism (QAT) is offering a structuring coaching programme to help market-ready enterprises meet international standards. This will help them market their offer to international customers increasingly interested in Indigenous tourism. Together, we must be able to cater to this growing demand while increasing your enterprise’s revenues and preserving authenticity and respect for our values.
With the support of our valued partners in the industry, we will provide you with a clear and organized picture about Quebec’s and Canada’s tourism industry, the different key players, the funding programs and relationship levels. You’ll fully grasp your role in this ecosystem and learn how you can benefit from it.
What are the criteria to be market-ready? How to fulfill them? What are the steps to get there? You will get all the answers to your questions during this three-hour training session tailored to your needs and put together by Jason Picard-Binet, your Marketing Advisor.
Besides being a decision-making platform, this meeting gives you – our members – the opportunity to view the annual report and the financial statements audited as at March 31, 2018, to elect members of the Board of Directors and deal with any other item on the agenda. It is also a unique chance to network with other stakeholders of Quebec’s Indigenous tourism industry.
Kindly confirm your presence at this AGM before Friday, November 2, by filling out the attached reply-coupon and sending it at firstname.lastname@example.org. One reply-coupon is required per member.
